Title: CRM Analyst / Developer

 

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire (100% Remote) – Will have to travel to their office in MA quarterly.

 

Duration: 6-month contract to hire – they really want this person to eventually convert perm and stay long-term

Soft –     Great communication

The candidate must be detail-oriented and have the ability to manage / prioritize multiple demands from a large user base across multiple departments.  The candidate should have deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM in all functional and technical areas.

 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·Work with Operations / Finance Business System Analysts (and Management) to understand business requirements and to advise + help identify how Dynamics 365 CRM can best meet needs (within technical constraints).

 

·Architect the CRM system (and related customizations) to meet business requirements.

 

·Regularly communicate with Business Systems Manager + Development Manager to report status and to ensure proposed solution architecture is implemented in line with broader architectural standards.

 

·Draft functional / technical specifications for planned work.

 

·Configure + customize CRM (e.g., forms, views, dashboards, workflows, case management, web resources, security, Field Service, Unified Service Desk, etc.) per specifications and work with BSAs to facilitate testing / deployment.

 

·Maintain, customize and upgrade (as needed) existing integrations with 3rd party applications (e.g., Q Gate intelli-CTi for telephony integration, Live Assist from CafeX for web chat, etc.).

 

·Effectively utilize CRM SDK and 3rd party tools such as XRMToolbox for development, configuration and admin.

 

·Work with the business to develop reports and dashboards (within both CRM and Power BI).

 

·Provide application support, including fixing bugs / issues.

 

·Work with members of the ETL Team to resolve technical issues concerning ongoing SSIS integrations between    on-premise SQL databases and CRM.

 

·Train Operations BSAs on core CRM functionality to educate them as to how the system can be configured to meet diverse business requirements.

 

·Maintain solution files and source control as part of overall SDLC management.

 

·Ensure adherence to consistent release management and change management processes.

 

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

·Ability to extend CRM functionality with customizations / plug-ins in JavaScript, C#, .NET and HTML (and through new + existing 3rd party applications).

 

·Experience with CRM API, REST/ODATA and SOAP endpoints.

 

·Experience with administration and customization of Unified Service Desk.

 

·Experience with administration and customization of CRM’s Field Service App.

 

·Ability to remain current on (and subsequently implement) new CRM features and functionality                              (e.g., Unified Client Interface, omni-channel solution, dual-write with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Service / Sales Insight AI Solutions from Microsoft, Microsoft Bot Framework, etc.).

 

·Comfortable with Visual Studio, TFS, source control and CRM SDK.

 

·Knowledge of O365 + Power Platform (e.g., Model-driven / Canvas Power Apps, Flow, Logic Apps, etc.) functionality as it pertains to feature sets that integrate with Dynamics 365 CRM.

 

·Familiarity with the Data Export Service, Azure SQL, Data Gateways and SSIS.

 

·Ability to communicate well at various levels of the organization to make data / tech less intimidating and more fun!

 

·Strong written communications, particularly as it concerns the drafting of technical specifications.

 

 

 

Education and/or Experience

 

BS / BA Degree (or Equivalent)

Bachelor’s Degree in Technology-related Discipline is Preferred

5 Years of Business Systems Analysis / Development Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM

o    Experience working with business users and management to understand business challenges and to identify / deliver innovative solutions to satisfy requirements.

 

o    Experience working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

 

Any Microsoft CRM Certification(s) are needed.

Any experience with Dynamics AX, Purchasing / Inventory or Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
