Job Description
CPA duties are included but not limited to:
? Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant
? Analyze transactions and review reports
? Review general ledger reconciliation and manage multiple clients
? Participate in the Firm management processes
? Brief partners regularly on the client’s financial status
? Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations
? Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
? Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
? Experience in performing audits, reviews, compilations, and supervising staff with respect to the completion of same
? Being able to field questions from clients and proactively advise clients on changes in their tax situations
? Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
? Support training and onboarding for new staff
? Monitor staff activities daily and supervises staff
Time Required & Work Environment
? Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
? 40 hour work week between April 15th ? December
? 56 hour work week between January ? April 15th (including Saturdays for 6 hours)
? On-site work location with remote option available based on structure and competence
Required Education/Certification
? B.A Accounting (3.0 GPA)
? Certified Public Account (CPA) Certification
Skills & Qualifications
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables), CCH Axcess, Sage, SAP, and QuickBooks
? GAAP: 1 Year (Preferred)
? Excellent verbal & writing skills
? Multi-lingual a plus (Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred based on demographics and client list).
? Ability to meet strict deadlines, be reliable, organized, dedicated and effective as a team member
