Contestants Coordinator

The Contestant’s Coordinator will be responsible for managing our contestants throughout all aspects of competition, including monthly mini pageants. This person will help to organize the logistics of competition, such as, making sure everyone has the correct schedule and verifying times and dates, how contestants are set up in the changing area, paperwork is completed and accurate, creates the Judges Packets, helps out coordinating any transportation needs for events or functions.  This is someone who is organized, direct, and has a bit of Mama or Papa Hen in him or her that will bring out the best in everyone. This person also will assist all Directors as they need them to ensure contestants have fees paid, and stay connected to our social media, their extranet and all events they are required to attend or be a part of. This would be a great position for a young adult in college pursuing a degree as an Event Coordinator or Public Relations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Facilitates Open Call sessions in person or online or assists the facilitator so the sessions run smoothly
• Provides information to contestants about the Overview of our pageant system (inner beauty) and the agreements they all need to comply with
• Keeps files of contestants arranges interviews and orientations
• Notifies chosen contestants that have been nominated to compete and provides detailed information for follow up after registration
• Performs other personal services, like attending to needs and comforts of contestants, making sure snacks & entertainment are available and social events are scheduled
• May operate camera to photograph contestants periodically
• Schedule appointments and plan special events for contestants during competition
• Makes sure all contestants are entered into software database as Brainy Gals & Guys members (membership begins when competition or productions is over)
• Makes sure all contestants are entered into our extranet and Contestants Corner to receive all information they need pertaining to their pageant competition as well as to interact with other contestants and Directors
• Makes sure contestants are aware of our Brainy Bucks and how to redeem what is earned based on participation in activities
• Makes sure financial rewards are distributed to all contestants accounts timely
• Makes sure all contestants either pay their sponsor-based fees and obtain at least one sponsor before competition ends
• Makes sure all contestants have viewed their handbook and the “Become A Contestant” video/presentation
• Confirms that all materials needed for competition have been received such as photos, registration forms, profile forms, platform statements and any other materials or documents required for competition
• Any other duties as assigned

Rainbow Universe Pageants is an inner beauty pageant system that caters to youth ages 13-24. We produce unique and innovative pageant productions as well as provide an array of youth services and programs to promote and motivate youth to excellence. Our youth contestants participate in pre-pageant workshops to prepare them for their competition and all of the attention they will be receiving as contestants.
