Content Creator/Marketing Specialist

Job Description

As a Content Creator/Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing new marketing strategies and improving existing campaigns through multiple channels including social media, email, direct mail, and more. This involves being heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the team, collecting, processing, and sharing content, brainstorming new ideas to reach prospective clients, and analyzing marketing strategies to optimize performance. This role will primarily work with The Thayer Group, but may also produce some content for our sister companies.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design content marketing strategies and set engagement goals with the team.
• Photograph and record video on location throughout the Denver Metro Area.
• Create and execute a marketing schedule within a budget.
• Produce written content including: post captions, blog posts, direct mail copy, etc.
• Edit photos and videos to create short-form, digestible content.
• Organically grow our social media following and increase inbound lead generation through marketing campaigns.

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in social media content creation, especially Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. 
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products, especially Lightroom CC, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
• Proficiency in photography and videography for content creation and marketing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Google Drive products.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Expertise in social media platforms.
• Project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license and car; ability to drive to locations throughout the Denver Metro Area.
