Content Creator Intern

REMOTE POSITION** 

CoLife is seeking a creative and strategic content creator with a high degree of professionalism to join our team of interns. We are looking for a Content Creator to create various types of pieces for our company’s digital and social media channels, like videos, podcasts, ebooks and social media posts. Content Creator responsibilities include creating, curating and editing entertaining and engaging content to strategically advertise and promote our products, programs and services in both print and digital form. 

Our ideal candidate has a passion for community and an entrepreneurial mindset. They are eager to contribute to a larger team while infusing elements of the things they are most passionate about. It is important individuals have a passion for their respective industries with a willingness to understand, research, and explore the role of small businesses and brands in both local and global markets.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging content for CoLife and affiliated brands, including video content, photography, infographics, audio, e-books  and more.
• Light graphic design including logo Design, marketing collateral (business cards, brochures, flyers, postcards, etc.), banners, t-shirts and more
• Capture and edit photography, videography and audio for social, web and tv  
• Other responsibilities deemed by management

Requirements:

• Experience/coursework in graphic design, public relations, marketing or communication majors 
• Ability to prioritize and work both as an individual and as part of a team
• Exceptional organizational skills, with an ability to effectively multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Positive attitude, work effectively in a team structure
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks while also meeting deadlines
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) preferred
• Knowledge of Gmail/G-Suite/Google Docs
• Knowledge of video editing tools iMovie, Windows Movie Maker etc. 
• Basic Website HTML Knowledge
• Proficiency in new web tools like for design, audio and video editing

THE COLIFE INTERN EXPERIENCE

This is an UNPAID internship. School credit may be obtained but is not required. The internship is mostly remote though local opportunities are available. Our internship program is designed to give students a launchpad to apply the skills they learn in school by collaborating with start-ups, small businesses and organizations that are looking for fresh talent. Employment upon completion of the internship program is not guaranteed.**
