Retail Construction Project Manager/Owners Rep PM

We are searching for an experienced multi-site retail Construction Project Manager/Owners Rep to support a variety of fast-paced projects. We specialize in Restaurant and Retail, new construction and remodel programs for our national clients.

• Salary range is $70k-$90K (non-negotiable outside of set salary range and based on necessary experience)
• Worked directly as an owner project manager, preferred
• Weekly travel required locally and out of state (4-5 days per week)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and maintenance of business relationships with Owners and their Franchisees, Architect/Engineers, and Contractors (Union and Open).
• Assist with the coordination of the Contractor’s team to provide leadership for the duration of the project.
• Participate in the preconstruction and bidding process.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the project schedule.
• Participate in weekly meetings with the Project Team.
• Communicate with Architect, Owner and/or Program Manager on all project issues.
• Assist with the preparation and organization of Progress Meetings on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Travel to on-site preconstruction meetings, progress visits and punch walks.
• Assist with the tracking of all potential change orders.
• Assist with reviewing contractor applications for payment.
• Assist with managing the project close out process to facilitate timely release of retention.

Requirements

• Construction Project Management experience
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous construction projects
• A minimum of at least five (5) years of experience in managing Restaurant and Retail construction projects - build out and ground up
• Degree in Construction Management, Business, or Engineering preferred or comparable experience
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and other project management tools are a plus
• Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks projects and demands.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Passionate and dedicated to high-quality work
• Trustworthy, self-motivated and independent worker, with Team-orientation
• Drug Screening and Background Check required

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time position and a competitive salary will be offered that is commensurate with the Ideal Candidate’s experience.
