Construction Foreman

Select Development Group, a general contractor located in Naples, FL is seeking a Construction Foreman to manage all aspects of construction projects.

Job Summary

General contracting company in SWFL has immediate opening for Construction Foreman.  The individual must have proven track record of being self-motivated professional. Candidates for Construction Foreman should have 3+ years’ experience as a Construction Foreman in the residential and commercial construction industry and be able to oversee, manage, and direct all aspects of a project from initial planning to completion. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities that allow him or her to take control of a project and produce results.  Will train the right candidate.  

 

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities

•          Lead subcontractors in the construction of projects ensuring project quality, schedule, and safety.
•          Inspection of subcontractor operations to ensure quality and adherence to plans.
•          Commitment to an injury free environment.
•          Prepare daily and weekly project records and reports.
•          Ensure safety and compliance with company safety policies and OSHA job site requirements
•          Ability to work with numerous contractors and sub-contractors in an efficient manner.
•          Ability to adhere to deadlines 
•          Provide excellent communication skills and ability to interact with owners.
•          Coordinate and order materials for timely delivery to the project site.

Job Skills and Abilities

•          Broad understanding of the construction industry
•          Ability to perform small project tasks 
•          High end residential construction experience a plus
•          Commercial construction experience a plus especially tenant fit outs
•          Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
•          Proficient in PC use including MS Windows software. (Word, Excel, Outlook
•          Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
•          Possess a valid drivers license
