Concrete Laborer

Steel Toe Staffing is hiring concrete/manufacturing laborers for our client in the Central, SC area.

~1st shift - $15/hour
~Must be able to work in the elements - hot & cold.
*Steel toe or composite toe shoes required*
 

Position Summary:

The Laborer position is responsible for form set-up, rebar tying, concrete pouring and vibration, concrete patching, and form tear-down/clean-up. Additional responsibilities maybe assigned as needed.
 

Essential Functions:

• Strip and clean concrete forms and products
• Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete
• Perform basic carpentry skills
• Facility maintenance and housekeeping
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Position Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment
• Manufacturing or construction experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat and lift up to 75 lbs. throughout the day
• Must be comfortable climbing up ladders
• Forklift and crane operation experience is a plus
