Concessions Cashier

CENTERPLATE, the exclusive food & beverage service provider proudly serving the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium, is currently seeking part time/seasonal quick service cashier for the 2020 Miami Open as well as our upcoming 2020 event season including, concerts, soccer, college and NFL football.
 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Concession Cashier is responsible for ensuring that guests receive an exceptional level of service by assisting guests at points of sale. The Concession Cashier's top priority will be to ensure that the Centerplate’s standards for handling cash and credit card transactions are consistently executed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that policies and procedures for processing customer sales transactions are adhered to.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Must have a good attitude and have excellent customer service skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages, based on state requirements.
• Ability to utilize a calculator, change counters and manually count and accurately make change for transactions involving large sums of money.
• Ability to work well in a high stress, fast paced environment and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used by guests who typically visit the work location.
• Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
