The Community Health Worker serves as a liaison between the community and AACI’s physical health, behavioral health, and wellness programs. Primarily working in the community with specific populations.

COVID-19 considerations:
AACI’s primary concern is for the health and well-being of our employees, clients, and community including candidates. AACI offers a variety of programs, however we are ultimately classified as a Health Care Facility under the state order mandating vaccination. All members of our workforce must be fully vaccinated. New employees must provide proof of vaccination at time of hire. To be considered fully vaccinated, please wait 14 days after the second dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or after the one dose of Johnson & Johnson.
Founded in 1973, AACI is one of the largest community-based organizations advocating for and serving the marginalized and vulnerable ethnic communities in Santa Clara County. Our many programs address the health and well-being of the individual and advances our belief in providing care that goes beyond just health, but also provides people a sense of hope and new possibilities. Current programs include behavioral and primary health services, substance abuse prevention and treatment, center for survivors of torture, shelter and services for domestic violence and human trafficking survivors, senior center, youth programs, and community advocacy.
