Commercial Drywall Superintendent

A quickly growing Commercial Drywall / Steel Stud Framing Company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced General Superintendent to service the Atlanta, GA market.

They will be responsible to manage multiple subcontractors, and jobsite daily by providing direction to ensure scope of work.  Must be proficient in completing / submitting company paperwork with details, daily, weekly and monthly reports.  This position will require working more than 8-hour days, weekends and if necessary Holidays. They must be proficient in creating, maintaining and completing project schedules on time and in budget as well as enforce all safety and current OSHA / ANSI / Federal & State compliance requirements.  This person will also be required to schedule inspections when required, meet with inspectors, General Contractors, architects, etc.  They must also uphold, enforce all policies, procedures and company image.  In addition to collecting / tracking submittal's, R.F.I. change orders, as build’s, warranties, etc.

Requirements

Three to Five years minimum experience working as a Superintendent or Forman for a Commercial Drywall / Steel Stud Framing Company.

Experience in a general contracting is not a qualification for this position

Must be proficient with basic computer skills, Outlook, Excel, Blue-beam, Plan Grid, Adobe

Current OSHA 30, CPR and Basic First Aid certification (expired is not acceptable)

Travel to and from job site or stay in hotel may be required for some positions

Proficient in reading blue prints and detail oriented

Completion of companies’ orientation, drug, background testing program is required

Clean, well groomed, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, proper grammar and writing skills, flexible in traveling, career orientated, English or bi lingual, high school, and college educated, professional, extended education in construction is helpful (must provide proof of education)

Proficient in completing/submitting required paperwork with details

Salary = $65,000 - $85,000 + Bonus
