CNC Lathe Machinist

Are you an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist looking for an opportunity to work in a clean, climate-controlled environment? We have an opening available for a Lathe machinist to work on either 2nd shift or to work the weekend shift (3 12-hour shifts per week). Pay will be based on experience and full benefits are offered. This position holds the following requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of a CNC Machinist apprenticeship, possession of a valid certification in Computer Aided Manufacturing, or completion of an associate's degree from a machining technology program.
• Advanced math and problem-solving skills.
• At least 5 years of previous experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Strong knowledge of operating and maintaining CNC machinery.

This position will consist of the following in terms of CNC Lathes:

• Setup CNC machinery according to the appropriate specifications and test that it is working properly before use.
• Make adjustments to production speed, materials, and machine settings in order to maximize production efficiency and minimize mechanical errors.
• Monitor the performance of the machine to ensure that any production issues are resolved promptly.
• Examine finished products for any defects and identify where they are coming from.
