Our beautiful North Idaho location provides endless recreational opportunities. The lush valley of the St. Joe River is the spectacular setting for the town of St. Maries (pronounced St. Marys) in the North Idaho Panhandle. The mountains, rivers, lakes and forests provide a grand backdrop for the town, which was founded in the 1880’s at the confluence of the St. Joe and St. Maries rivers.
Located just 55 miles from the city of Coeur d’Alene to the northwest, St. Maries is the county seat of Benewah County, and is the commercial center for this region of Idaho. State Highways 5 and 3 both travel through the city.
The community of St. Maries & Benewah County is growing! We offer a peaceful rural setting in which to practice medicine, yet St. Maries is only 55 miles from Coeur d’Alene and a seventy-five minute drive to downtown Spokane: close enough to the ‘big city’ when required.
