Job Description :
Assumes primary responsibility for the safe and effective use of medications in the hospital. Reviews and interprets each medication order to assure it is safe, effective, and economical to the patient. This requires the pharmacist to practice in a clinical, patient oriented manner. Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies according to standard procedure upon written orders of prescriptions from individuals authorized to prescribe in this hospital. ***7 on 7 off position

***Up to $10,000.00 Sign On Bonus and relocation assistance depending on experience. Two year commitment is required.

The shift for the 7 on 7 off pharmacist is below.

Thursday and Friday 1030am-9pm

Saturday and Sunday 7am-5pm

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7am-530pm

This pharmacist is on call Friday night until the pharmacy opens on Monday morning the weekend that they work.

Required Qualifications :
Requirements:

Doctorate of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent.
Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Current Pharmacist certification or licensure in the State of Arizona
Hospital experience required.
Meditech experience preferred.
Relocation and call required.

Salary range for the position is $100,000 -$137,000.
