Hiring Criteria for City Drivers

A city driver is defined as a driver who operates within a 100 air mile radius of his normal work reporting location.  This type of driver is exempt from logs/EOBRs and uses a time card to record his hours.

 CITY DRIVER EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (must meet one of the following):

·         One (1) year of verifiable local driving in the past 3 years.

·         One (1) year of verifiable driving (Combination of OTR/Regional/Local) in the past three (3) years.

·         Three (3) months experience (Combination of OTR/Regional/Local) in the past year and at any time completed an accredited school or carrier approved training program.
