Kydz Careers is a staffing and consulting agency in the Pittsburgh Area. Our mission is to properly place child care teachers, assistant teachers, directors and aide workers into child care facilities who may need their services temporarily or permanently. Acting as the liaison between facilities and caregivers, we place child care workers in atmospheres where they can highlight their many skills, as well as create lasting business and career building relationships. We offer preparatory trainings per facility needs as well as help with receiving ALL the state and federal regulated certifications and an option to receive your associates in Childcare Development CDA. Assistant Childcare Teacher Job Description/ Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care
• Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children
• Help children keep good hygiene
• Change the diapers of infants and toddlers
• Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allow children to learn about the world and explore interests
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents
• Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest
• Enforce school and class rules to help teach students proper behavior
• Help teachers prepare for lessons by getting materials ready and setting up learning

Education: High school Diploma or Equivalent
