OBJECTIVES: The Company is seeking a CEO to assume day-to-day responsibilities for Sales and Management of the operation, with an emphasis on growing sales, improving profitability, and diversifying markets while maintaining quality, safety and employee satisfaction. The CEO will work closely with the team to develop the Company’s growth strategy, as well as maintain and enhance Company culture.
MAJOR ISSUES/GOALS: Provide day-to-day sales leadership and management that is consistent with the core values of the Company while driving new product development, customer relationships and sales growth for continued long term profitability.
Clearly articulate Company objectives and align the team so that all know their respective roles and how success will be measured. Provide stability and leadership for the Company.
Manage development of new proprietary products to serve customer needs and drive sales and profitability growth. Manage existing customer relationships.
Collaborate with the management team to manage existing, and implement new, best practices as necessary to ensure flawless and cost-effective execution across all Company operations.
Attract, recruit and develop a motivated team.
Report regularly to other executive leadership and Board of Directors on the operating condition of the Company, as well as significant activities and plans.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 10 years of senior management experience developing and leading entrepreneurial sales operations .
Private equity experience preferred.
Must possess strong execution skills with demonstrated experience in implementing and managing business processes for significant organizational change within a closely held entrepreneurial environment.
Must have demonstrated competency in communicating to closely held owners for positive impact change.
Must have demonstrated ability to analyze financial reports, determine trends, and define new product development opportunities for presentation to the Board of Directors.
Must have a strong proven customer service orientation with emphasis in customer management and ability to maintain open communications with customers and vendors.
Willingness to lead by example and able to clearly present goals, provide direction and offer support to the executive management, direct reports and general staff.
Must be results-oriented and entrepreneurial, with well-developed interpersonal and team building skills.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
