Chemical Application Technician

Join our team as a Chemical Application Technician, where you'll play a vital role in applying crop nutrients and protection products while maintaining custom application vehicles and equipment. Job Duties:

• Utilize math skills to calculate chemical mixes per blend sheet specifications and calibrate fertilizer and spraying equipment.
• Operate, service, and maintain various types of custom application equipment.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, supervisors, and suppliers.
• Assist with daily operations at locations, including receiving, loading, and delivering products, as well as treating seed.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary schooling desirable (experience may be substituted for education).
• Possess or ability to obtain a Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsement.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and flexible to work extended seasonal hours.
• Possess or ability to obtain Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification.
• Previous experience operating and servicing farm machinery.
• Farming background or experience with the application of crop protection products preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Farming background.
• Previous application experience.
• Chemical application education preferred.

Salary: $45,000 - $75,000 + Benefits
