Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant / COTA to fill a full-time permanent job opening at one of the top-tier rehabilitation facilities in Rochester. The perfect candidate for this position will have experience working with the geriatric community of varying skill levels in a rehabilitation environment. Common job duties and expectations for this COTA role include; providing working assistance to the occupational therapist (OT) in assessing and diagnosing patients, developing specialized treatment plans on a patient-by-patient basis, and clear, effective communication skills. The ideal candidate for this COTA job will be highly detail-oriented with the capability to take extensive notes detailing patient progress along their treatment plan. In addition, this role requires the ability to work well and maintain a high level of productivity, both under the supervision and independently.
