Certified Nursing Assistant

MedCorp Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to offer home companion and personal care services to clients in the Fort White, FL area. We are looking for individuals passionate about providing quality care, making a difference, and enhancing the lives of others. Hours are variable and shifts can range between 3 to 8 hours at a time. 

Essential functions of this role include but are not limited to: 

• Treating clients, their families, and their property with the utmost level of respect and dignity
• Maintaining awareness of client needs and providing care appropriate to the condition and age of the clients.
• Communicating any observed changes in patient status and response to RN or Supervisor.
• Providing companionship and socialization services while also assisting with the following: medication and appointment reminders, light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation, errands and grocery runs, stabilization and support (up and down stairs or getting in and out of bathtub), and other tasks.

Minimum requirements:

• Successful completion of CNA program or Home Health Aide certificate (40+ hours)
• At least 1 year of home health or CNA experience
• Lift up to 25lbs and physical ability to push, pull, reach, bend, and handle clients and/or objects
• Pass a Level 2 AHCA criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
• Reliable transportation, a valid drivers license, and cell phone 
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week 

The pay is variable based on experience. Pay is distributed every two weeks. Direct deposit is available.
