Certified Medical Assistant

We have a fulltime position for a team-oriented individual at our Newberg location. Seeking a friendly and compassionate person to fill the role of Certified Medical Assistant. Position will primarily consist of Certified Medical Assisting duties in addition to back up coverage of the front office.
 

CMA Primary responsibilities:

• Rooming, collecting patient vital signs, point of care testing, administering immunizations.
• Documentation in the electronic medical record (EHR)
• Maintaining clinic flow, stocking exam rooms, assisting with procedures and treatments.
• Complete necessary forms, chart notes and reports in a timely matter.
• Detail oriented, able to rely on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks, participate on a team, and accomplish goals
• Create and uphold a welcoming atmosphere for our patients.
• Able to interact and treat all persons with fairness, respect and sensitivity to cultural/social differences

Front Office Primary responsibilities:

• Welcomes patients, determines the purpose of visit and provides them with the required paperwork to complete.
• Collect and record copayments and outstanding balances, and balance cash drawer daily.
• Collaborate with the Patient Financial Services team.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times.
• Ability to work under pressure while remaining friendly and professional.
• Participate in site-specific and clinic-wide initiatives on an ongoing basis.
• Punctual, regular, timely, and dependable attendance.
• Successfully work in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Qualifications required for position:

• Valid Certified Medical Assistant
• Current CPR certification
• Prefer minimum one (1) year clinical experience in primary medicine
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
