Catholic School Principal

St. Mary’s Catholic School, located in Belen, NM is seeking a principal for the 2020-2021 school year. St. Mary’s is a preK-8 school that has been in operation since 1927 and is one of the ministries of Our Lady of Belen Parish. St. Mary’s offers a strong religious and spiritual program as well as a well-rounded academic program. St. Mary’s is accredited through Western Catholic Education Association.

The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with excellent communication and human relations skills who is dedicated to fostering a community of academic excellence within an environment that emphasizes Catholic identity and values. Qualifications include:

• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church
• A master’s degree in educational administration or similar field
• Five years experience as a teacher or administrator in a Catholic School
• Be eligible for principal licensure in the state of New Mexico
