We are currently seeking an experienced Catheter Assembler/Technician to build and test catheters for the robotic catheter system.
Key Responsibilities (“Do”):
Build catheters for research and development studies with instruction by the catheter engineers
Maintain the fixtures, tools, and supplies to build catheters
Perform and document mechanical testing of catheters
Contribute to the improvement of the catheter assembly process
Understand and conform to the HORL Quality System
Interact effectively with an engineering team
Associates Degree in one of the following - Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Plastics Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
3-5 years of relevant experience in building and assembling of catheters or equivalent medical devices.
Experience with assembly of parts under a microscope.
Experience working in a fast-paced, rapid prototype design environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to others.
“Nice to Haves”
Familiarity with reading engineering drawings, Solid Works, or equivalent 3D CAD.
Working knowledge of catheter manufacturing process and equipment.
Results Expected (“Deliver”):
Build and provide catheters for research and development studies
Generate test reports of catheters.
Recommend improvements to the catheter assembly process
