Job Description:
We are searching for multiple Cardiology Stepdown, RN's for our client located in Alexandria Louisiana, a 241-bed facility employing approximately 1,600 Associates, and a medical staff of over 325 physicians.
Unit name: 2 North - Cardiology Stepdown

Unit size, # of beds, etc: 36 beds
Why is this position open? Replacement/Add to Staff
Patient ratio: 6:1 (Very fast paced floor)
Types of patient profiles or cases: Post OP CABG / Chest Pain / Cath Lab
Minimum Education
ADN or BSN
Minimum Work Experience - Must haves (years, units, trauma levels):
Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg Experience
Will consider LTAC experience ( not SNF)
Nice to haves: Strong Clinical/Critical Thinking Skills
Required Licenses/Certifications
* BLS
*ACLS
* Current LA RN license or a compact license
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
Passionate about the patient experience
