Business Manager

Thompson is seeking an experienced Business/Enrollment Manager for our early childhood services. The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly-motivated professional with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities. Responsibilities will include giving tours to prospective families and converting leads to enrolled families; responding to inquiries promptly both on the phone and by email, with the goal of helping parents and referral sources learn about and feel connected to our programs; supervising the collection, disbursement, accounting and reporting of all program funds; developing regular, periodic financial/utilization reports for executive leadership; preparing and keeping current income and expenditure records; overseeing procurement and contracting procedures and processes; and completing monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders as required.
 

Four-year degree in Accounting or related field and at least two years of experience required. We are committed to providing an extraordinary child care experience, so early childhood education or early childhood director experience is a plus. Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and excellent computer skills including Excel. Knowledge of ProCare software and NC Fast is also a plus.
 

A valid NC driver’s license, at least 3 years of driving with a driver’s license and clean driving record are required. All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required. No calls please.
