Chatter Buzz a tech-creative digital marketing and advertising agency laser-focused on brand awareness and lead generation is looking for a Business Development Representative to assist in growing our tech-focused agency.

As a Business Development Representative on the direct sales team, you will identify, source, and close net new business opportunities.
Using strong consultative selling skills, you will balance primarily passive leads for your pipeline in addition to qualifying inbound leads. This role will require a team member with strong prospecting skills, a strong commitment to win, and the desire to continue growing in a sales and marketing career.
Persistence is key. Not every customer is going to be a sale. Being able to bounce back if you lose a sale will be key for this job. Areas of Responsibility:
Using strong consultative selling skills, you will balance primarily passive leads for your pipeline in addition to qualifying inbound leads

Position the value of Chatter Buzz services and the customer journey to small and medium-sized businesses
Source new leads through inbound lead follow-up and outbound calls, emails, and social selling (Linkedin & other mediums as needed)
Be responsible for prospecting, qualifying leads, and approximately 1-3 discovery calls per day where you would uncover pain points, and challenges, and provide value
Educate and guide prospects through the sales cycle (average 30 days) to help them learn how Chatter Buzz can grow their business in the short term and scale for the long term
Manage a pipeline of primarily outbound leads (about 75%) as well as inbound leads to identify, engage, and develop relationships with potential buyers
Dissect and qualify prospects’ business goals to determine if Chatter Buzz can be a strategic investment for their business growth
Close net new business at or above quota level
Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as the company introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products
Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future
Engage as your unique self in a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing team
Have a sharp focus on their goals and a belief that their daily, weekly, and monthly activities will help achieve them
2+ years of sales experience (B2B sales experience - digital advertising, agency, and/or marketing services business is a plus)
Analytically minded with strong interpersonal, presentation, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
Technical savvy and have experience using tools such as Hubspot, etc.
Strong strong problem-solving skills to identify the issue, find a solution, and communicate the solution to the customer.
Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines between multiple technologies and tools across various clients
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Sales training, pre-call planning, or hubspot.com software experience is a plus
Strong phone presence and experience making ~40 calls per day
Strong writing skills to craft 50-100 personalized emails per day
Proven track record achieving measurable sales goals in an automated sales environment
A competitive salary with uncapped commission and bonus upon exceeding the monthly quota
The cash compensation above includes base compensation, on-target commission in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under our bonus plan
Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons
