Position Summary :
Serves as a liaison between the business community and the Innovation and reporting team in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Assist in business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Analyze business partner's operations to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions if applicable. Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to such specifications. Identify business, operational and technical tasks, scope, time constraints and task inter dependencies. Lead walk through of business requirements. Works as a project team member on multiple projects to facilitate process improvements (operational and technology centric) involving multiple sites or business areas, often as a project leader. Coaches and mentors more junior staff
Required Qualifications :
• Minimum of 2+ years IT/Business experience with focus on process methodologies and analytics.
• 2+ years as a Business Analyst
• Experience with Business Process Mapping; IT Project Planning, Definition and Management; IT Business Requirements Definition using structured methodologies and tool sets.
• Ability to produce concise, clear, and complete business requirements.
• Ability to prepare and deliver organized and understandable presentations to medium or large groups.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience with focus on process methodologies and analytics.
• Experience supporting large projects and concurrent projects required.
• Strong problem solving skills to identify and help project team find solutions to issues.
• Demonstrate the ability to seek alternatives, new ideas, and/or approaches to problems.
• Strong interpersonal skills, to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the relationships between various applications and systems.
• Motivate others and provide innovative solutions for team improvement.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Tools.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience in the Health Care and/or PBM industry a plus.
• Technical and development background a plus
Education :
Bachelors' Degree Preferred but not required.
