Audiology Assistant Needed

Adult and Pediatric Patient Care

30-40 Hours/week

Salary DOE

TRAINING PROVIDED

No industry experience needed, just a desire to work with people and help those with hearing loss.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with hearing tests and perform hearing screening
• Work with hearing aids (cleaning, cataloging, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Support patients (providing instructions, review care options, etc.)
• Patient care and follow up calls
• Stock/maintain/clean clinic supplies and equipment
• Community outreach
• Other administrative responsibilities as directed
• Expanded opportunities based on experience and/or ability

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Desire to work directly with adults, children, and people with hearing loss
• Be reliable and have a strong work ethic
• Superior organizational and customer service skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

PREFERRED:

• HIS, CNA, or early childhood education certification(s)

and/or

• Bachelors in Speech & Hearing, Communication Sciences, or related degree

and/or

• Experience in hearing or speech industry
