Associate Scientist, Cell Line Engineering

The heart of our client's strategy is the development of novel, cutting-edge methods in machine learning and high-throughput biology to address key bottlenecks in the drug development pipeline.  You will work with a dynamic team to develop cutting-edge molecular biology tools including CRISPRn/a/i, viral vectors, optical sequencing/biosensors, and vectors to generate iPSC cell lines to feed into our machine learning pipeline.

Responsibilities of the Associate Scientist II/III, Cell Line Engineering:

• B.S./M.S. in a biological science, bio/chemical engineering, or equivalent 
• 3+ years of relevant research experience
• Extensive knowledge of cell culture and associated molecular biology assays  
• Experience with human induced pluripotent stem cell culture (iPSC)
• Interest in the design, plan, and execution of cell engineering techniques
• Excellent lab practice/organization, collaboration, and communication required
• Ability to adapt to multiple demands and changes
• Passion for making a difference in the world

Requirements of the Associate Scientist II/III, Cell Line Engineering:

• Experience with CRISPRn/a/i and/or other cellular screening modalities
• Experience with HDR knock-in/base editing for allelic editing
• Experience developing high-throughput assays with a focus on scaling iPSC-biology
• Experience with automation and high throughput assay development Familiarity with LIMS is a plus
• Familiarity with Benchling or similar electronic laboratory notebook system
