Associate Scientist, Biobanking & Media Prep

Machine learning integrated with biology at scale lies at the core of our approach to rethinking drug discovery and development. In this role, you will contribute to the core biology platform that our company is building by working as a key member of the team working on many aspects of iPSC technology such as iPSC QC, banking, and media preparation. A successful candidate will play a role on cross-functional teams that encompass research biology, engineering, and data science disciplines to design experiments, develop novel iPSC models at scale, and develop large, innovative disease relevant-biological datasets using cutting-edge, high-throughput automation platforms.  You will possess strong interpersonal skills, a strong collaborative work ethic, the ability to adapt to changing needs, and the capacity to multitask to meet key goals. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to success in this position. 

Requirements of the Associate Scientist Biobanking & Media Prep:

• B.S. in Biology or equivalent experience
• An understanding of cell biology
• An understanding of analytical techniques that apply to media preparation
• Meticulous about experimental details and lab work   
• Strong data entry skills 
• Strong team/collaborative skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• A desire to transform drug discovery and help patients

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with liquid handling and automation
• Familiarity with iPSC cell culture techniques
• Familiarity with standard molecular biology techniques
