The Associate Director of International Education Outreach/Marketing will provide leadership, vision, and support to the International Education department with regards to its international student recruitment and enrollment initiatives and activities. The International Education department encompasses international student outreach, orientation, partnerships, F-1 visa maintenance guidance, academic advising, student engagement, and study abroad programs. The Associate Director reports to Acting Director for International Outreach and will work collaboratively with administration, staff and faculty to further the College’s vision, mission, core themes, and strategic plan. 
This position is responsible for actively assisting the Acting Director of International Outreach and Executive Director in the development, implementation, and management of the College’s international education program development in assigned countries. The Associate Director will serve as the primary contact for overseas recruitment partners and other government agencies in assigned countries providing comprehensive information related to the College’s offerings and admissions/application requirements. In addition, this position will play a key marketing role in International Education, including the creation and refreshing of promotional materials and digital marketing activities. 

NOTE:  This position requires international travel of up to 6 weeks per trip, at a minimum of 20 weeks annually.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: 

  • Recruit international students and build global partnerships for the College
  • Increase international student enrollment from traditional markets
  • Develop and establish new markets for the College
  • Attend recruitment events overseas 
  • Assist International Outreach/Marketing team in setting recruitment and marketing plans and strategies 
  • Design, create, update marketing materials to promote the College international programs as well as leading social media marketing efforts 
  • Represent the College effectively in negotiating with recruitment agents and educational partners 
  • Maintain active communication with students, recruiting agents, and educational partners 
  • Provide reports and updates on international education recruitment trends
  • Perform other duties as requested
