StaffBuffalo is actively working with one of our fantastic manufacturing clients in Buffalo to hire an Assistant Production Manager, paying $60,000/year. This Assistant Production Manager will be an integral part of the Production team. They will be expected to supervise production employees, enforce production schedules, and provide safety-focused motivation, training, support, and guidance. This Assistant Production Manger will be responsible for managing the Quality Control department and will perform in-process inspections, oversee vendor and client complaints, and manage incoming inspections. The ideal candidate will have exceptional time management, interpersonal, and organizational skills. They will work to establish and maintain enhanced workflow policies with the goal of improving production efficiency and safety without compromising product quality or integrity. It is imperative that this Assistant Production Manager has prior ERP and warehouse management experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical skills.
