Assembly Worker – 1st & 2nd shift openings

$15-16/hour

Our manufacturing client in Waterloo, IA is looking to Assembly Workers for their 1st and 2nd shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review blueprints and work instructions to produce accurate work product that meets quality standards, safety requirements and allotted run times while meeting efficiency and productivity goals of the department.
• Generate minimal waste and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Other projects and duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Job Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Manufacturing assembly experience is required.
• Entry-Level position, job assignment and pay will be commensurate with level of demonstrated skills through school and previous positions.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Any experience assembling components is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Possess basis math knowledge.
• Effective communication and listening skills required.
• Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
