Assembler

We have partnered with a manufacturing service solutions company in the Aston, PA area to provide them with an Assembler.

Responsibilities of the Assembler:

• Operate fabricating machines including presses, saws, rolls, routers, and drill presses
• Develops layout and plans sequence of operation 
• Design, document, and construct fixtures, templates, and jigs
• Check own work and compare it to blueprints and/or diagrams
• Verifies conformance to specs utilizing measuring devices
• Able to conduct first piece inspections
• Accurately enter info into the system

Requirements of the Assembler:

• HS Diploma or GED REQUIRED
• 1 to 10 years' experience in the electro-mechanical assembly of machinery in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Able to operate various fabricating machines and measuring devices 
• Ability read blueprints and/or diagrams
• Forklift experience ideal
• Good communication skills
• Able to lift and/or carry up to and sometimes over 50 lbs
