Armed Security Officer

Bower is looking for Licensed Armed Security Professionals for our rapidly growing client base and to supplement current accounts.

Job Duties to Include:

• Keep an eye out for irregularities, including security breaches, safety hazards, and emergency situations.

• Remaining alert and aware of surroundings to identify unauthorized persons.

• Engage suspicious persons and inquire into their business at your area of responsibility.

• Patrol assigned areas on foot and ensure that any suspicious activities are looked into and provided resolutions for.

• Ensure doors, windows, and gates are secure and conform to security protocols; report any problems to the supervisor.

• Provide escort services to important people or for sensitive information or items such as documents and valuables.

• Create well-developed and articulate reports daily activity within assigned areas of both suspicious and non-suspicious nature, through .

• Operate security equipment such as security alarms, video cameras, body scanners, and fire equipment as and when situations demand it.

Employment Requirements:

• Minimum 1 Year Licensed Security Officer Experience
• Valid Government Issued Photo ID
• Current BSIS CA Guard Registration (Guard Card)
• Current BSIS CA Firearms Permit
• Training Certifications for Powers of Arrest & Weapons of Mass Destruction
• Training Certifications for all BSIS Mandated Training & Education (32 hours)
• Current Firearms Qualifications
• Professional Demeanor, Grooming and Appearance
