Architect Designer

LINQM is seeking an Architect with 5-8 years of experience to work on multiple projects across sites with the focus on cell manufacturing and R&D improvements. This person will be responsible for driving innovation and first principles mindset, executing projects and professional growth, and promoting collaboration between all project disciplines. This position is located in Fremont, CA.

Responsibilities:

• code analysis; feasibility study

• Gather required design inputs

• Space planning; test fit; clash detection

• Focus on early-phase planning and propose design concepts

• Coordinate with end users directly to get traction on the projects

• Project Execution.

• First Principles Mindset.

• Project Quality, Standards, Specifications, Drawing Deliverables.

• Drives Discipline Coordination.

• Team Morale, Dynamics, Capability / Capacity Gaps.

• Designing, producing construction documents, obtaining building permits.

• Architect of record for some projects for licensed candidates.

• Code Planning / Life Safety design.

• Participate in project scheduling and cost estimating.

• Develop process improvements / workflows / templates to increase design productivity.

• Learn, advance, and increase quality through construction observation / administration.

Requirements:

• Be able to work with ambiguities and drive projects towards success proactively

• Good communication skills

• familiar with code requirements and be able to red flag potential non-compliance early on

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience.

• Advanced proficiency in Revit.

• Licensed architect in the state of California is a plus.

• Construction administration experience.

• Work well under pressure and can manage multiple projects at the same time.

• Must be highly organized with outstanding prioritization skills.
