Note: Must be a US Citizen to be considered due ITAR/DFAR. No
relocation allowance available.

As a key member of the Information Technology team, the
Application Architect provides technical leadership and
management of the enterprise architecture. Providing effective
communications across team roles, assignments to developers,
adherence of tasks, process, scope management and schedule
effectively.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Collaborated with executive leadership to define business and
technical capability roadmaps.
* Cataloged and led remediation efforts for technical debt across
the enterprise.
* Established cross-discipline best practices and process
improvements leading to a reduction in defect rates and increase
in development throughput
* Established weekly developer training and practice sessions.
* Establishes and maintains Software Development Life Cycle
processes and tools
* Implement and directs others on all phases of the SDLC
* Provides technical leadership and managing other developers
* Analyzes and drives solution implementations for complex
company-wide procedures
* Performs application analysis, design, development and
documentation
* Provides the enterprise architecture for all Information
Technology
* Provides application security prevention and incident response
* Provides cloud solutions, administration, DevOps engineering
and performance tuning
* Effectively manages communications and expectations at a
leadership level
* Administration of reference architecture and object libraries
* Enterprise application, security and data architecture
* Service, API and backend technical design and implementations
* Swagger and external partner documentation

* Proactive and collaborative, with an ability to effectively
communicate, and lead and develop/build a team
* Ability to solve difficult problems and deal with a variety of
technical debt variables

* Desire and competent to learn new technologies as necessary
Required Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology discipline or
related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Information
Systems, Management Information Systems) and a minimum of eight
years work experience in one or more domain or platform areas.
Experience must include creating and influencing Enterprise,
Domain, and Solution Architecture and/or technology strategies,
recommending security and/or technology strategies and mechanisms
for application design and deployment, performing risk
assessments and/or developing corrective actions based on such
assessments.
Preferred Skills

* Experience architect enterprise level web applications that are
secure, scale-able, and Cloud-based, using React. Experience with
GraphQL and Material UI preferred.
* Identify and manage integrations with existing and new
third-party systems, SaaS
* Lead project technology scoping, prioritization and effort
estimation.
* Coaching and influencing senior and junior developers.
* Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, Git, Azure (or
other cloud services), Docker/Containers, REST Services.
* Experience Microsoft SQL Server or other RDBMS
* Experience with Agile development
