Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science field with 8-10 years experience in the animal nutrition industry or related technical field
3-5 years experience managing a team or cross functional team
Previous experience managing in a matrix business environment is preferred
Experience in a customer facing role in either sales or technical service role
Ability to interact at multiple levels in customer organizations, including Senior Management
Excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to present technical data to an audience of varying knowledge
Self starter; independent achiever and highly motivated
Willingness to travel up to 80% - this position will be home office based
Demonstrated track record of success

MUST HAVE:
Animal Nutrition Sales Management experience for the poultry industry
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science field with 8-10 years experience in the animal nutrition industry or related technical field. Ideally animal health, animal husbandry, or poultry related advanced degrees. Many team members hold Ph.D's.
3-5 years experience managing a sales team or cross functional team of 10 or more
Previous experience managing in a matrix business environment is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications skills including the ability to present technical data to an audience of varying knowledge
Self starter; independent achiever and highly motivated
Willingness to travel up to 80% - this position will be home office based

Someone with existing book of business to drive new client acquisition
Experience hunting & driving new client acquisition
Other Notes on Location:
Located in either the Southeast United States, or Midwest United States, which is near most of the poultry farms. An ideal candidate likely is already living in this region. If they live West of the Rocky Mountains, they likely would need to relocate to the region, unless they have a demonstrated history of traveling 70-80% and managing a sales team in the southeast region from their current location.
