Operations Recruiter II Recruiter - Operations Overview The recruiter will be responsible for managing full cycle recruitment delivery process throughout our domestic business groups. You will assist in promoting our strong employment brand while ensuring a high-touch positive client and candidate experience. Collaborate with TA leaders and business partners to develop and execute sourcing plans aligned with domestic and global recruiting strategies, as well as developing creative ideas to attract top talent. Build and maintain relationships with clients to ensure staffing needs are met and continue to drive all sourcing, selection and hiring of talent through set metrics. Develop and execute robust global recruiting strategies and communicate regularly with clients on process, status and feedback of all candidates. Maintain complete and accurate record-keeping details in compliance with federal and state requirements. Responsibilities • Initiate strategic intake meetings with hiring managers; collaborate and develop sourcing strategy for approved roles • Source, and engage candidates for roles • Implement and facilitate consistency of recruiting policies and procedures • Successfully prioritize, manage and complete searches efficiently based on market industry knowledge, established benchmarks and metrics • Develop sourcing strategies, candidate pipeline bench • Successfully draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and HR Business Partners • Share ideas and collaborate on implementing strategies related to the sourcing of talent that will contribute to the long-range growth and talent development of the company • Identify internal and external candidates to fill new or vacant positions o Activities may include screening resumes, attending recruitment job fairs, school and/or community based recruitment events or other externally focused efforts • Sourcing activities may include creation of an internal and/or external job posting, employee referrals, website advertising, social media, or other sourcing methods • Interview prospective employees for non-exempt and exempt positions o Assess candidates to determine if their capabilities match the job requirements o Activities may include digital video interviews, telephone-based screening/interviewing, in-person interviews, administering pre-placement testing etc. e.g. knowledge or skill-based tests, simulations, etc. o Review information gained about the candidate(s) and decide whether or not to interview candidate and recommend to hiring manager • Conduct debrief sessions with hiring manager to discuss candidate qualifications o Activities may include reviewing test data, interviewer's recommendations or leading/participating in selection decision-making meetings for internal teams o Facilitate the placement of qualified candidates • Determine job offer for most qualified candidate o Discuss offer details with hiring manager o Partner with Compensation and HR as needed o Prepare new hire offers and extend verbal offers o Negotiate offer to successful acceptance • Communicate final status with all candidates • Craft and provide developmental feedback for internal candidates not selected • Rescind offers as necessary in the event a pre-employment hurdle is not met • Develop recruiting tools and techniques to assist United in meeting staffing and placement needs • Maintain complete and accurate staffing documentation as required by law • Update information in United's applicant tracking systems to ensure compliance and accuracy of metrics • Interface with Talent Acquisition Center, as appropriate, to process candidates and fill positions • Provide subject matter expertise in managing specific staffing vendors, such as websites, search firms and university contacts Education • Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years relevant HR work experience required Certification • SHRM CP, SHRM SCP, PHR, SPHR, GPHR (Professional, Senior Professional, or Global Professional in Human Resources) certification preferred Knowledge/Skills • Demonstrated good judgment and attention to detail required • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service orientation required • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, highly team-oriented environment required • Excellent time management, follow-through and organizational skills required • Strong communication and ability to build relationships with all levels of personnel required • Strategic and forward-thinking skills required • Must be able to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy and ability to delegate work, as needed • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Sharepoint and databases required • Strong knowledge of social media LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. • Must be able to handle highly confidential information • Proven ability to build strong relationships and work in a team environment required • Must be able to quickly assess candidate's skills/qualifications and attributes and make placements/recommendations as appropriate • Must be able to coach and counsel internal and external candidates on career development • Recruiting experience using Taleo or other applicant tracking systems • Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and counsel other recruiters on best practices and recruiting processes required • Must be able to work on special projects, in addition to typical recruiting workload • Must be able to recruit hard-to-fill positions utilizing various sourcing methods Experience • Taleo applicant tracking system experience highly desired • 3 or more years HR experience required • At least 3 years of dedicated experience as a recruiter with strong sourcing skills required • Prior experience coordinating and attending career fairs preferred • Prior experience in developing and giving presentations preferred • Previous recruiting and sourcing experience in the global market preferred • Experience using HRIS platforms (PeopleSoft) preferred • Experience with Montage preferred • High volume recruiting experience highly preferred Other • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship • Successful completion of interview required to meet job Customer Service, Management, and Administrative roles in the business office and airports) • Will manage roughly 20-30 postings at any given time • Will also support hiring at airports and reservation center, so some travel may be required • Must have experience with Taleo, how to disposition people, and building collaborative relationships with hiring managers • Manager will utilize a
