Airfield Construction Flagger: Entry Level (PT)

Must be able to direct and control traffic safety in and through the work zone.
Direct site equipment when working in close proximity to traffic and other hazards and obstructions. Communicating and interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Protect workers by keeping workspace free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards.

Being observant of the surroundings at all times to ensure the safe movement of oncoming traffic.

Communicate via two-way radio with co-workers to facilitate traffic movement.

Monitor Airport Radio VHF Transceiver
Attended daily and monthly safety meetings

Ability to work extended hours and irregular days with irregular breaks.

Ability to work outdoors in all elements.

Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.

Occasionally help with labor crews during prep, clean-up as required, and other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Work overtime as required

Ability to stand for long hours

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be reliable & professional

Must have reliable transportation

Must submit to a Background Screening 

Preferred- Valid Driver’s License

Must have  a good driving recor
