1. Will provide a voice for the target populations: women and girls /breast cancer patients and survivors and those at high-risk.
2. Will advocate for programs, research funding and legal framework concerning The Island of Hope Foundation
and Travel Society
3. Will create and manage a youth agenda since we intend to target the young girls in schools and colleges, who may be at high-risk.
4. Will direct and supervise an advocacy team, including volunteers, for the Foundation.
5. Will work closely and report directly to the Board of Directors and Trustees of the Foundation to design and develop campaign strategies, priorities and goals and engaging all concerned.
6. Will represent the Foundation in various progressive coalitions and collaborate regularly with the Foundation's partners and other stakeholders.
7. Will oversee communications: manage, support and work closely with the Communications Director to advance the Foundation's long-term goals.
8. Manage a long-term campaign to advance biotechnology in breast cancer research.
To explore the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the development of all breast cancers and seek new therapeutic strategies for the treatment of those diseases. To develop new, emerging technologies, biomedical devices and biologics, establish laboratories, worldwide partnerships and humanitarian missions.
