Acquisitions Specialist

The Acquisitions Specialist is an exciting and critical position within the Safe Storage USA team. The role is essential to the acquisition process. The incumbent focuses on utilizing contemporary outbound telemarketing strategies to source potential asset opportunities. The Acquisitions Specials exercises discretion, independent judgment, operates autonomously consistently, and qualifies leads while maintaining and expanding our database. Performs related work.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and interprets data to assist in property acquisitions by researching potential leads from business directories, databases, web searches, or digital resources.
• Utilizes telemarketing strategies, including cold calling and making multiple outbound calls to potential prospects; qualifies leads according to brand standards.
• Creates and maintains a database of prospective sellers (utilizing CRM, Excel, etc.); tracks weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
• Answers questions and follows up on inquiries from potential sellers.
• Develops pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales. 

Minimum Qualifications

• One year of experience in outbound call centers or related sales experience.
• Professional experience using a Customer Relationship Manager (CRM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Google Suite
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; excellent time management skills, highly organized with extreme attention to detail
• A demonstrated ability to work independently or as an active member of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Career-focused, driven, professional, and friendly demeanor; a positive attitude, and not easily discouraged
• Experience in the commercial real estate industry
