Accounts Payable Clerk

Accounts Payable- QuickBooks Proficient!

Currently seeking to hire an Accounts Payable Associate with at least 3 -4 years of accounts payable experience.

The Accounts Payable Associate has the primary responsibility for processing all invoices and payments. The successful candidate should have previous accounts payable experience and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all accounts payable activities to include scanning invoices, entering invoices into QuickBooks program, processing checks, and filing of invoices
• Ensure approvals are obtained for the payment of invoices
• Reconcile Vendor Statements, researching and correcting discrepancies as applicable
• Prepares analysis of accounts when required
• Responds to vendor questions and inquiries
• Maintains accounts payable reports and files
• Prepare month-end closing and other projects as needed
• Maintain Petty cash

Position Requirements:
• A minimum of 3-4 years of accounts payable experience is required. Experience in the Construction field is preferred.
• Proficient skills in Excel, Microsoft Office software and Quickbooks. Must be able to create and utilize spreadsheets that include working with formulas.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Independent self-starter, detail-oriented, excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
