Accounting Specialist

n search of Financial Assistant. Among this position tasks are the following:

• Pays invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
• Verifies items billed against items ordered and received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the vendor and/or other employees.
• Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying delinquent accounts and insufficient payments.
• Collects revenue by reminding customers; assisting them with inquiries, information and/or documents.
• Posts financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system, according to instructions.
• Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
• Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation; follow up with involved related staff members, issue payments, and/or adjustments.
• Prepares account deposit ticket, and deposits money as directed.
• *Quickbooks Experience Required (SAP Business One Preferred).
• * Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Pay rate: 14-18/h depending on experience.
