Job Description:
Summary: Troy-based CPA Firm looking for a self-motivated, full-time Accountant to join an excellent work environment. The ideal candidate will be looking for a long-term home with a chance to grow into shared ownership.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting
- Preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns
- Tax planning and research
- Preparation of financial statements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Willing to get CPA license
- Experience with current computer accounting and tax programs (Ex. QuickBooks or Creative Solutions products - preferred but not required)
- Detail and deadline oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of tax and accounting rules
- Integrity with an ability to handle confidential information
