Why Drive for NAMS?

Competitive Pay:

Lift Van Drivers: $19/hr (Day)/ $21/hr (Evening)/ $24/hr (Weekend)

Sedan Drivers: $16/hr (Day)/$18 /hr (Evening)/ $20 (Weekend)

Sign-On Bonuses:

$4.000 for Full-Time Drivers

$2,000 for Part-Time Drivers

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid PA Driver’s License (no suspensions in the last 5 years).
• At least 5 years of personal driving experience.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test (company-paid).
• Lift Van applicants must pass a DOT physical.
• Service area: Northern Allegheny County & Pittsburgh.

The Transportation Department of NAMS provides transit services to the City of Pittsburgh and the suburbs of northern Allegheny County from 6 a.m. until midnight 365 days a year for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Wheelchair vans and passenger vehicles are available depending on riders’ needs.

Organizations serviced by the NAMS Transportation Department include:

• NAMS programs
• Allegheny County Department of Aging
• ACCESS Transportation Systems of Allegheny County
• Department of Public Welfare

Transportation services are provided in conjunction with ACCESS.
