One of my clients desires a part-time caregiver to assist with personal care, companionship, and transportation. The client has limited mobility, uses a walker and wheelchair. She is 5’6 and weighs about 175 lbs. Valid driver's license and transportation required (caregiver must have their own vehicle and the vehicle must be lower for ease of transfer). Two references and a free background check are required prior to hire.
LOCATION:
Phoenix, AZ 85021
HOURS:
T and Th 9a-1p
M, W, F 9a-2 or 3p
CARE:
Own transportation for transport to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, etc. Car must be lower for ease of transfer
Ability to assist with transferring client and lifting wheelchair into and out of car
Computer and phone help
Bathing
Laundry
Help with medicine distribution
Attend some campus events with client
RATE: $17 per hour
**Mileage will be reimbursed for client transportation and can be discussed further with the hiring family
