Position Overview:
In this role, one shall be responsible for designing and developing applications using the Java technology framework and SQL as the Database. Additional responsibilities shall include contributing to designing and documenting the software architecture based on existing architecture and inputs received from the Client from time to time. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and UAT as and when required also, engage with the Client in requirement gathering, Status updates on deliverables, UAT, and be the key stakeholder in the overall engagement.

Responsibilities:

•  Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems
•  Delivering high availability and performance
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
•  Extensive experience developing java web servers (SOAP or RESTFul) and using open source frameworks, such as Axis, CXF, and JAX-WS
•  Extensive experience in XML technologies, such as XML, XSD, XSL, JAXB, etc.
•  Experience in developing front end technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery, JSP and Struts 1.0/2.0
• Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
• Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
• Managing Java and Java EE application development
• Ensuring designs comply with specifications
• Preparing and producing releases of software components
• Transforming requirements into stipulations
• Support continuous improvement
• investigating alternatives and technologies
• Presenting for architectural review

• 5+ years of experience developing in Java and J2EE (full stack)
• Experience in developing front end technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery, JSP and Struts 1.0/2.0
• Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, and Kanban
• Java based web services
• Experience in JBoss
• Front-end development skills: Angular 8.0+, HTML/JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), YUI and/or JQuery
• Server-side component design skills: Object-Oriented Design with Java EE 6 and up, Spring/SpringBoot, Jax-WS and JAX-RS Webservice development, Apache OpenJPA or similar, EJB 3.0, common frameworks such as Maven, JUnit, Log4J, Mockito.
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, DB2, Oracle), SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, Spring JDBC)
• Solid experience with automated unit testing, TDD, BDD, and associated technologies (Junit, Mockito, Cucumber, Selenium, Karma/Jasmine, TSLint)
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
