16-Passenger Van Driver

We are searching for drivers who are interested in driving in the industry transporting customers with disabilities. If hired, you will be responsible for safely operating a van-type vehicle. The primary objective of the Driver is providing Safe, Reliable, and Efficient public transportation.
 

Duties:

• Loading and unloading of passengers on/off vehicles.
• Transporting of passengers that are persons with disabilities.
• Four-point securement of five wheelchairs and scooters.
• Escorting passengers from vehicle to/from first portal of locations.
• Provide superior customer service to passengers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess Driver's License for a 5-year minimum to exclude a provisional license.
• Able to read a map and have a strong knowledge of the Washington Metropolitan area.
• Possess excellent communication, customer service, and decision-making skills.
• A valid DC, Maryland, or Virginia driver's license within the 1st week of training.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Read, Write, and Speak English.
• Operate on-board mobile data terminals.
• Have the desire to give back to the community.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
