1099 Field adjuster needed for San Fransico, Los Angeles, and San Diego
Our team of Independent Catastrophe Claims Examiners consists of contractors who work alongside our field services staff and department leaders to deliver high-quality and timely results to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting quality assurance reviews, adhering to client estimating guidelines and best practices, and ensuring the technical accuracy of all estimates and reports.
Key responsibilities include reviewing desk adjuster reports and creating estimates to ensure they meet industry standards and guidelines, following best-practices guidelines to meet client expectations, applying knowledge of insurance policies and coverage, ensuring all necessary file documentation are included, collaborating on estimates using Xactimate/XactAnalysis, monitoring and managing your individual queue to ensure timely completion of files, working within multiple client systems, programs, and guidelines, and assisting with collaborating adjusters on client-specific requirements when needed.
Job requirements for this position include a minimum of two years of property field adjusting experience, strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently, good organization and time management skills, analytical and proactive claim handling skills, excellent customer service skills, proficient oral and written communication abilities, proficiency in computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and familiarity with various field concepts, practices, and procedures.
As a 1099 contractor, you provide your own software and equipment.

2 years of experience as a field adjuster, or 1 year of experience as a field adjuster and 1 year of experience in construction. This is a licensed position; you must have a current and active adjuster license in the State that you are preforming job-related duties. Must be able to work on your own without being micromanaged. Some claims will need you to climb roofs and or go into crawl spaces. You must have your own ladder, smartphone, computer and all other needed equipment to perform the job duties. Safety harness must be worn at all times while performing roof inspections.
